The one I have that works is from Iogear, model GUC232A. You can Google it for ordering info. Tiger Direct sells them for $29.99.
I bought a similar one at BestBuy and it didn't work at all. I have no idea what the difference is. They both looked the same. I can also second the motion for the microHAM devices. While they sell a $119 USB/Serial converter, I have the microKEYER ($259). It includes a software driver that lets me create multiple virtual USB ports so I can have several pieces of software talking to various components of the microKEYER and the radio at the same time. This is surprisingly useful. Is there anybody out there using a USB to serial adapter between their K2 and pc for rig control/logging? If so, how well does it work, and what brand are you using? I understand that some of them work well and some don't. Thanks for the bandwidth. 73, Mark Baugh W5EZY Grenada MS __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam?
