I can hardly wait to read the next Digest of this group regarding the New Products discussion of touchscreens vs knob interfaced SD radios, because I MUST have the latest interface technology in order to have any enjoyment of Amateur Radio. Alas, my beloved KX3 looks doomed because Hamthought, Inc., has just released their latest radio. It has a Thought Screen. All a ham has to do is think of the frequency and the radio will go to it, as well as any other function of the radio. It is amazing technology and I think the Elecraft, ICOM, and all other Amateur Radio equipment manufacturers are in real trouble. They are going to have to adapt to the new technology or go out of business. Hams realize that the fate of the world revolves around the kind of interface a software-defined radio has.
