Not completely.... I chose Elecraft specifically because it's the only major maker that allows me to participate in the process of building the device.
Since assembling my K3s/P3, I continue to improve my knowledge and skills in theory, design, and construction. I've always gotten as much or more enjoyment out of the design and construction phases of projects as from the operation thereof.
