Even better than a designed-in K2 USB port, how about a Bluetooth interface for wireless connecting to a computer? I had a hard time finding a laptop computer with a serial port in October 2002. A new (January this year) tower computer that I bought came with an unwanted modem card and no serial ports. I took that card out and added a PCI two serial ports card.
