Hello group, I am considering ordering some equipment from Elecraft that totals around $2700 or so. I just noticed on the cart check out that an "insurance charge" will come AFTER you submit the order? Weird. Anyone have any clue what the rate is? I don't mind paying a premium for made-in-USA products, what I don't like are surprises and obscure policies. Why can't they just state the rate (per X$) up front? Or do they have to consult the oracle to find out what the insurance rate is?
