You have been extremely lucky. I have, on the average, one parcel a year lost or stolen in shipment - particularly foreign shipments - to the extent that I will not ship to certain countries and require insurance on all shipments. Now that Elecraft are shipping more service work and higher value (think KPA500/KPA1500) products, it makes a lot of sense to use either carrier or third party insurance rather than absorb the loss. 73, ...
