Bob, Given how old the firmware version was when you got the rig, something else you will want to do is go through the mods and updates list on the Elecraft website. The FW rev level is from 2008, and it’s a good bet you’re missing quite a few needed and worthwhile hardware and board-level updates as well. It might even be worth your while to send the radio to Elecraft, have them go through it, and bring everything up to date. In many ways, it will be a different (better) radio when you get it back (or do the mods and updates yourself).
