Contrast your experience, James, with what happened recently when I purchased a kit on eBay from a seller in a country that now has the NSA observing me closely for collusion. When I emailed to tell the seller that two critical parts were missing from the kit, he replied that that was "rubbish" and told me flat out I didn't know what I was doing. Can you imagine Elecraft ever doing that? I can't either.
