Having done exactly the same thing (putting P1 on the wrong side of the board) my email to Elecraft support resulted in a very fast and helpful response. A quick email should get you going again.
Having completed the K2 now (with some very accurate and timely advice from Don W)- it was fun to build and is great to use especially in the field.
