Years ago I was working with a catering dept at a hotel to set up a conference. I met the new manager named Kate, and it was decided to continue the meeting over lunch. We walked to where her car was parked and I noticed her Ohio license plate: K8WYT. I asked, "Oh, are you an amateur radio operator?" She said, "No. That's me. Kate White."
