The levels from the RX I/Q are very low, so you might not hear anything.

Pages 26 and 27 in the manual talk about using that for computer-based SDR 
applications.

Also, check the RX I/Q menu setting. If that is OFF, you won’t get any output 
from that jack.

Finally, fldigi does not use I/Q signals for its waterfall. It uses the regular 
audio output from the PHONES jack.
