Peter, Absolutely brilliant! I never have seen this windows page or read about it, but it absolutely did the trick. I now have an alternate soundcard selected in windows sound control panel and have WSJT-X configured in App volume and device preferences.
I have to experiment to be sure nothing gets out sound-wise from the computer but at first exposure, this looks to be dead on. How many others have not yet discovered this! 73!
