Yes CAT can be somewhat confusing IF........you are running multiple applications at the same time.   Otherwise, I use CAT for: WSJT-X, FLDIGI, HRD/DM780, MMTTY and have zero issues with any of the applications or levels or commands.   And all were easy to configure and are reliable.  When I load and open the application, the radio follows just as one would expect.  Now that I find simple.
