I'm considering which DSP option to go with - KDSP2 or one of the BHI noise-eliminating speakers. They're both AF DSP solutions, the cost is similar, but that's moreorless where the similarities end. I've attempted to collect the other pros and cons...
BHI: Plug in, it works. can be used with any radio, not just the k2 only one control - easy to tweak I don't have to build it. KDSP2: I get to build it - satisfy my solder smoke cravings! lots of parameters to tweak (is this an advantage?) internal - nice and small Low current draw (60mA vs BHI's 500mA - ouch!) ... but I've not managed the all-important listening test. Any of you fine gents tried both, and able to objectively compare? Obviously the Elecraft Reflector's not the most ideal place for an unbiased opinion, but hey... :-) -- "Nosey" Nick Waterman, G7RZQ, K2 #5209. use Std::Disclaimer; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Hot glass looks same as cold glass.
