Guys, Can anyone recommend a way to test my new K2 noise blanker? My antenna (260' long dipole) is nearly 200' behind the house, so I'm thinking of loosening feedline connector & turning on a hair dryer nearby. Maybe even use a short random wire antenna for the rx test. Any better suggestions?
I'm lucky to live in a rural area with no noise needing blanking...but I couldn't resist maxing out the K2. I'm pretty sure the K2's "not inst" message flashes a subliminal "buy me" message.
