Need more details on what your antenna system is and especially what is connected to antenna 1 and 2 on the amp. Any antenna switches, etc.

Today as I was shutting down my station I turned off the KPA1500 first, and my noise dropped from S7 to S1 instantly. I turned the Amp back on and the noise came back.
