Good Evening,

Good conditions were not to be found.  Both twenty and forty meters had moderate to high noise levels with all manner of QSB. The strongest signal on twenty was from RI.  Forty meters is changing noticeably from week to week.  The strongest signal there was from ID, my next door neighbor :)  We had to move the forty meter net.  They could hear none of us.  Hopefully I did not miss you in the noise.  Summer storms and space noise hit S4 at times. Since I don't really have any local noise this is high for me.

  On 14050.5 kHz at 2200z:

W0CZ - Ken  - ND

K6XK - Roy - IA

K1NW - Brian - RI

  On 7047.5 and 7047.64 kHz at 0000z:

W0CZ - Ken - ND

K7TXA - Jim - ID

K0DTJ - Brian - CA

Cool weather is returning with clouds coming in from the Pacific.  Hopefully that will bring some much needed moisture.  It would be nice if a band of it would sweep east for the next week. It is too dry.

Until next week 73,

   Kevin.  KD5ONS
