David, I used a K3 up until about three months ago on my Mac Mini (intel-powered) with no problems at all. The K3 was sold and now the Mini is connected to a K4D, which also plays well on the platform. My Mini has 32GB on non-Apple Ram and the hard drive (SSD) is 1TB. OS is Monterey 12.5.1
Like another poster, I used MacLoggerDX (MLDX) for all of my logging and SkookumLogger for contesting - a great combination. Don at Dog Park Software has been super quick answering any questions I have on MLDX, in addition to providing quick fixes for some minor issues. Also, I have an IC-705 that shares my four keys, antenna, and MLDX.
