John, Condolances on your misfortune.
I do Windows here, so I can't help much, but I did look at the screenshot for iSpectrum on the web and it looks like it could do the job for you. The waterfall display seems to include a spectrum display, so what you need to do is determine the frequency that matches your sidetone pitch (on the horizontal axis), then feed wideband noise into the K2 - adjust the BFO frequency so the center of the passband displayed occurs at your chosen sidetone pitch - similar to using Spectrogram. Of course pushing the right buttons to obtain a display like the screenshot may be your biggest problem, and in that case, I can offer no help. If you can obtain a display similar to that shown in the screenshot, you should be able to make it work. 73, Don W3FPR > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of John Wiener > Sent: Wednesday, November 01, 2006 11:04 PM > To: Elecraft email > Subject: [Elecraft] wishing I didn't hard reset > > > Ever since I hard reset my K2, it doesn't behave the same way in CW. > Thanks to Don, Ron and Dave, I have fixed a few things. > I use an iMac so I bought iSpectrum from Dog Park Software in order > to more accurately set XFIL, etc. I find documentation of this > program particularly lacking.
