I suggest you take a look at the Expert 1K-FA from SPE: http://

impatient and bought one of these.
This is a fully automatic amplifier that will work with any rig - it
will drive to about 2/3 full power with my K2 in low power mode, but I
seem to remember that there may be FCC issues with that kind of gain?
That looks ideal, Bob, particularly for UK use where our licensed power
output is restricted to 400W (26dBW). Rated at 1 KW pep SSB out.; 900 W
pep CW out (typ.), two-thirds output when driven with a K2 exceeds our
maximum. I suspect the main problem will be limiting the power to
comply with our licence.
