Am I correct in assuming that you need to order the KXV3 Xverter
interface in order to get the RX ANT input?
Yes.
Please provide the capability to disable transmitting on the 2nd
Antenna, to allow the possibility of using a second rx antenna.
The KAT3 allows this configuration.
Comments based on 4 years of Orion useage:..
2. I NEVER use the Hi/Lo Cut controls (in favor of Width/PBT-Shift)
and not sure that anyone else does.
I often use Hi Cut/Lo Cut on SSB. I generally use Shift/Width in CW and
Data modes.
With the K3, the choice is yours at the tap of a knob.
