True Tim, but their prices are very significantly higher than the US. I always check qrpshop prices but even adding in the VAT and postage buying from the US direct is always much cheaper. Bear in mind that there is no duty to pay on amateur radio kits anyway - so that does not enter into the equation.
As an example - a bare K2 now costs $620 from elecraft plus say $63 for shipping. That is $692 which translates to £348. Now add 17.5% VAT and £8 clearance fee = £417 in round numbers. Now buy the same item from Germany - 769 euros including VAT. Add 20 euros for shipping and that's 789 euros or £531. That's over £100 more! As I say, much better to go straight to the US and buy there.
