As I have been reading the preliminary manual (wow!) I started to wonder about a couple of things....
I know the Kit has no alignment to do. How do they do that? Do they put it all together and align it...and then ship it....or does "E" just do put the PCBs on a "test" bench and tweak it? I would think it would more cost effective to to the "test" bench. If the "test" bench method is used....are there any stats on the difference in alignment between a Kit and and Assembled unit. Does the Kit need to be tweaked to get the same alignment as the Assembled unit? Will there be a different serial number for K3s that tell them apart from a Kit or an Assembled unit? SN-134768K or SN- 134768A? I bet this has already been discussed here....but I cannot keep up with the volume of email and all the information. Overload!
