The Alinco DM-330 power supply got a good write-up in RadCom a couple of months back.
Don't know where in the north of Scotland you are going but this place www.dunnethead.co.uk is apparently run by a ham, Brian, GM4JYB. He used to advertise in RadCom but when I checked to get the address just now he seems to have stopped.
