I have a Heil HC4 mike on my headset and all it would take is a tie-wrap or a piece of tape. It is just a piece of 1/8 tubing with a mike on one end and a cord through the middle with a mic connector on the end. But I like the HC10 headset that goes with it. I don't have a K3 to use it with yet, but it does a super job with my TS-850
