Why not just run the mic into the box then the box into the radio and
use the mic gain to match the output of the box to the radio?
One reason would be that one wants use the the K3's TX equalizer
before doing any external processing. It would depend on what's
possible, and how and if Elecraft might implement such a function.
Like I said, I just wanted to float the idea, because I felt it might
be neat. A bit like using the RX antenna in and out connections (KXV3)
to add your own RX amps, filters and the like to the radio.
