Good Evening,
It was a wonderful day today in a string of them. I am getting wood cut,
split, and stacked. In a few days I will cease being so stiff and just bask in
the pleasant glow of my labors. I'll also have a nice stack of wood for next
winter. I think I can safely say spring is here. It has only snowed a little
this week! The flowers are going crazy and I saw my first hummingbird of the
season. I know where one feeder is but Pat put the other somewhere I have not
found yet. Pat?
Just took a break from 7QP to write this announcement. Forty is getting
fluttery for the locals but the AZ and GA folks are coming in nicely. I'll
drop to 80 m soon to see how that is working. Not a real contesting effort
just a little practice. Karl taught me not to use the headphones and to keep
moving. I have not called CQ yet just searching and pouncing. There are
plenty of stations out there though. I know there are a few other contests but
I have only worked the 7QP folks so far. Did not get back in the house in time
to test 20 meters but it was weak this week for my cross country skeds. One of
these days the sunspot cycle will start upward again. Currently it in is the
longest low in quite a few cycles.

Please join us tomorrow evening.
