Hi Paul: 1: Is the LPA fully seated in the RF board? NO pins should show between the halves of the connectors on the LPA and RF board. Obviously, if it's not fully seated that will raise up the transistors and the screws might not reach.
2: Are you *sure* you have 1/4" screws for those three? They are awfully close to the 3/16" used elsewhere, and for the most part you could use a 1/4" screw elsewhere and not notice, until you needed them to secure those transistors. I am putting the bottom covers on and am unable to get the back cover on properly. The problem is properly installing the ¼ Black pan screws (with tooth lock washer) over the three power transistors. The screws are apparently to short as things stand. I cant even get them to begin threading. The transistors have ¼ standoffs under the transistor screw holes. I am overlooking simple I am sure. The remaining stanoffs on the RF board that attach to the bottom cover are ¼ and have tooth lock washers. HELP!!!
