Mike,
you are right...
When you have SSB + CW active (menu:CW WGHT press "1") there is now no conncetion between PTT/VOX mode for CW and CW sending in SSB mode.
(as it was in previous versions as I remember)
My previous messages concerning this was based on previous experience and only very short test with 2.02. Sorry.

It is surely bug in this beta version as NO CW QSK DELAY is applied, only RF based on Key is emitted.

The correct function is to use CW VOX/QSK setting incl. VOX CW DELAY which is now ignored.

To avoid CW RF ins SSB or (CW keying without QSK delay) set SSB-CW until influence of CW PTT/VOX/QSK setting will be back. Simply do not use Auto-CW in beta 2.02 or go back with F/W.

Hi,

Unless I'm misunderstanding something it works here.

SSB - PTT mode, press paddle whilst in RX results in CW with RF output. Interestingly this happens even if true CW mode is not set to VOX.

Is this somehow broken in v2.02? I haven't bothered to load it yet because it doesn't offer me anything I currently need and I will let the army of beta testers thrash it a bit.

Regards,

Mike VP8NO
