I often start tuning around in SSB or data mode, and finish up in the CW portion. As soon as I switch to CW mode I lose the signal and have to hunt for it again. Perhaps achieving this would not be as simple as it seems if the sideband used for CW is not the same as is being used for data or SSB. But it would be nice to eliminate that annoyance.
