Bud,

The transverter cable needs only 3 signal lines plus ground.
AUXBUS  K3 ACC pin 2 to KXVxx pin 6
KEYING   K3 ACC pin 10 to KXVxx pin 9
+12 VDC K3 +12 volts output to KXVxx pin 8 (other methods can be used. but the KXVxx uses this input to sense when the K3 has been turned on).
Ground   K3 ACC pin 5 or 12 to KXVxx pin 1.

That should provide you with a transverter that works with the K3. If it does not work properly, plese let me know.
