I noticed this also....but I found that is was an antenna issue...or more so a
coax issue. I changed out some coax and the issue went away for the most part,
but I notice that since I put in the last upgrade (2.02/1.77) things changed
for AFSK. I have to drive the K3 quite a bit harder than I did before, and it
would never make the 100 watts output. The best I could do was 80 watts before
the Xmit ALC would go to 5 bars and just stop. Running 3 to 4 bars would only
give me 80 watts and increasing it any more was fruitless. I was going to ask
about this myself....

My line in was at 48 to 50 and it tops out at 60. I am running the Signalink
USB and had to increase the drive from the device considerably. I wonder if
something changed in the software which either I did not read about or is an
artifact of doing something that affects something else.

In our day and age it seems that Common Sense is in short supply. If you don't
have any Common Sense - get some Common Sense and use it. If you can't find
any Common Sense, ask for help from somebody who has some Common Sense. Is
Common Sense divine?
