I notice the same thing, but only when there is a signal on the
frequency tuned in on the K3 when power is turned ON. AF gain set at
about 9 o'clock, CONFIG:AF GAIN HI. With no signal on the tuned
frequency, the loud audio does not happen. I did not notice this on
previous firmware versions. Later this morning I'll reinstall previous
firmware and double check.
