A very late Good Evening to you,
I almost forgot to send this :( I have had a very long and busy day today.
I got a lot done and was just about in bed when I remembered I had not sent my
announcement. The weather has turned downright hot. 80 degrees for two days
in a row with more on the way. Needless to say I do not have a fire in the
woodstove. Hummingbirds are here in force. I have to be careful when I walk
out on the deck not to get injured by them zooming by. The feeder is emptying
at an alarming rate. I think it will be empty again by tomorrow. There are
plenty of bugs and flowers but they still defend the feeder like it is the last
food available.
Conditions were rather good this week and today the WPX contest is keeping
the ionosphere lit up! I expect it will stay that way until just seconds
before the first net starts tomorrow. The Seapac hamfest is coming next
weekend so I will probably be in Seaside for Saturday to see Lisa and a few
other Elecraft folks. It is a small hamfest but they do have a few tables of
parts so I will scrounge for whatever I can find. Nothing like OzarkCon but it
is much closer. This year the weather may be nicer than normal but who can
tell? On the coast the weather is not like it is only a few miles inland.

Please join us tomorrow evening.
