I use M1-M4 for doing some of this.... I setup M1 for the CW portion of the band. I setup VFOA to the bottom of the band setup VFOB to the top and then setup the mode and everything. Then I do the same for SSB on M2. This not only gives me a quick way to go to the two band segments but it also allows for scanning after recalling one of these memories.
