Beta firmware currently out in field test does have a choice of coarse tuning increments of 0.1, 0.5 and 1 KHz. There is still a user choice of rounding off (or not) the last digits when coarse tuning via the RIT/XIT knob. So you will have plenty of tuning rate choices.
