Ok Ive completed the watt meter calibration and the radio and external meter both are in agreement now but a new problem has raised its head. ( sort of remember this happening when I first put the rig together but the error didnt repeat). When I do the Tx gain calibrate the utility says there is too high an swr (cantenna is still attached 50 ohm approx) 160 calibrates but the error (ERR TxG) starts there after on 60 or 40.
More thoughts? I wonder if Wayne watches email on the weekend.
