Maybe I misunderstood what he was trying to do. I thought he was trying to NOT use RIT, rather put the radio into split on a run frequency, lock VFO B for TX and use VFO A to tune around your run freq instead of using the small RIT knob. So RC; would not apply.

Uhm... no? All that will do is bring up the "VFO B>A" menu entry... and it's even it you actuated it, all it would do is to copy VFO B's frequency to VFO A - and RIT would still be on, and you would have QSYed to whatever frequency VFO B happened to be on. I believe a more suitable command would be {CAT1ASC K31;RC;} The "K31;" is probably unnecessary, but it shouldn't hurt. ~Iain / N6ML > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]]on Behalf Of K5WA > Sent: Monday, November 23, 2009 4:57 PM > To: [email protected] > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: Re: [Elecraft] K3 in SS SSB > > > Knut, > > > > That won't work because it doesn't allow N1MM's {CLEARRIT} feature to > resent > the RX back to zero as each contact gets logged.
