I use my K3 in diversity receive 90% of the time. I have matched 2.7 KHz filters in both receivers. The sub receiver has only the one filter the main also has 500 Hz, 6 KHz and 13 KHz filters.
I have had no issues when the two receivers are using different filters. I may be lucky. I understand that when operating in a CW contest environment that I will be disadvantaged because of the sub Rx using a broad roofing filter. I am not a contester. Your mileage may vary and you can always add filters later.
