I used to feel this way until I picked up a fast PC on Ebay. I now use it strictly for radio control. It has a dual VGA monitor output. I have PowerSDR running on one screen and Logger32 on the other With MIXW running in the background. The mouse smoothly slides between the 2 monitors. LP-Bridge provides me with the extra virtual serial ports needed to run multiple radio connections. In the morning, I just turn on the PC, click on LP-Bridge and it automatically brings up the other programs. It's a pretty smooth system. Steve N4LQ [email protected] ----- Original Message -----
I wouldn't call it a stupid question Rick, but it is not a product that would interest me. I often have two computers at my operating station to get the screen space that I want and am thinking about adding another monitor to this computer in addition to the 22" monitor that I am using. I don't want a panadapter that uses my computer screen or my computer hardware. There are several non-Elecraft options available for those who do prefer a computer solution.
