It should have tarted "A fellow". He told me that a "Big Gun" would never buy a K3. 1 due to not having 200w, #2 due to ergonomics. He basically said hat people that buy a K3 don't use it enough to not see the inherent laws in the layout, size etc. of the K3. He felt the 1000d was much etter. A recent meeting of the Frankford Radio Club (FRC) which includes a substantial number of Type-A, Big Guns seemed as much a K3 convention as it was a club meeting. I know some Yankee Clipper Contest Club (YCCC) member calls show up on this reflector. The K3 is becoming quite popular among the members of Florida Contest Group (FCG), too, I am told.
