I've had exactly the same reaction. It seems to me that limited functionality, no matter how exquisitely done, is still limited functionality.

If you make that investment, I don't know why you would also buy a P3 when it really doesn't seem to do anything that PowerSDR-IF (which is free) can't do. It aso seems that there is no mouse control for the P3 which I think is a drawback. I admit that I would like that 'toy' but I don't think I could justify buying it solely based on a capability that exceeds what can be done with a PC which I don't think it has. Now, if you just WANT it, I can understand that.
