I connected the Heil with Kenwood adapter in the front of the K3 and the footswitch in the kenwood adapter also and works. I wanted to connect the microphone Heil and the footswitch in the back, so I went to the MENU to select rear connection for the mic, connected mic to mic mono and footswitch to PTT IN I use an adapter to connect the stereo plug of my Heil footswitch to the RCA in the back of the K3 (PTT IN) With the K3 turned on, when I connected the footswitch in PTT IN the radio went to TX, so I turned it of. Then I turned it on with footswith connected and is OK in RX mode, but doesn´t go to TX when I press the footswitch. What can I do to use the footswitch in the back of the radio? We need the only kenwood adapter we have to use in the TS850, so we have to connect the other Heil (without kenwood adapter) in the back of the K3, both mic and footswitch.
