Foxjazz, The spacers are 19 mm *long* and 1.5 mm *thick*. Stack two of them to obtain 3 mm. The backlighting diffuser is mounted 3mm from the board to the bottom of the diffuser. The LCD goes above the diffuser - see Figure 5-11.
