The election results of the Nov. 2, 1999 Cambridge, Mass City Council election (using a form of single transferable votes (STV)) are at-- http://www.ci.cambridge.ma.us/~Election/99council.pdf (pdf document) Note that --(a) 1875 of the 18777 valid votes were "exhausted" (i.e. wasted) due to the use of the Droop Quota; (b) only 1 winning candidate had an initial surplus and that 7 of the 9 winners were elected on the 13th and 14th counts (after 15 candidates lost).
