Hi Holly,
My only experience in telling my partner is including electrosex in the list of “wild” sexual things I have done in my life in answer to a question she asked me. She was curious and wondered if it worked on women and we then talked about that. We are very open and honest with each other and these conversations work to bring us even more deeply connected.
My only advice would be to just be honest and loving in the way you share this experience with your husband. It might be just as simple as letting him know how much you enjoy it and that it doesn’t in anyway interfere with your love and enjoyment of him (so he isn’t threatened by it). If you can let go of any attachments you might have to him trying it out, he might be more relaxed about talking about it.
Of course you know him the best and are in the best position to know how to broach this subject with him. Still, it seems to me that until you can successfully share your activity in this area with him, your relationship with him may be somewhat stifled.
Good luck!
Dave~
