So we are backing up to the old-style UI, with a zoomed menu (http://elisa.fluendo.com/screenshots). That decision was taken also because quite a few of you didn't like the new UI proposal which looked a bit less original and with too much text.
Yay! Speaking for me personally, one of the things that really attracted me to Elisa was that the team were experimenting with different UI methods, since I was never attracted to MythTV and was convinced there was something better. (I wish i'd thought up the cross media bar from Sony!) Of course, I understand the issues with large media collections and the current UI. I must put together that mockup in my head of using a touchpad and drawing circles on it to scroll fast, something like the iPod's clickwheel... sil -- A man, a plan, a canoe, pasta, heros, rajahs, a coloratura, maps, snipe, percale, macaroni, a gag, a banana bag, a tan, a tag, a banana bag again (or a camel), a crepe, pins, Spam, a rut, a Rolo, cash, a jar, sore hats, a peon, a canal -- Panama!
