Yes, this sounds like a good idea, I think however that this "design
group" discussions archives should be kept somewhere public. Asking the
community to vote on a restricted pre-determined set of propositions
would surely lead to more constructive solutions :)
I second Philippe's position here.
we don't ask the Artwork SF members to make the Community (the team
and users) participate in every steps, nor to take into account every
single feedback and remark.
Only to make the more discussions and decisions available publicly...
I've asked Jeremy to check for creating the forum + poll system.
This will help both our ASF to make propositions more easily, and the
Community to make productive feedback. It will also help the ASF in
taking its decisions in a faster yet open and collaborative way.
