Well I got it to work.I didnt get video playing local, but I did not try to edit elisa/plugins/amp/master.py ey.ether. What I'm doing is streaming video, and music from my HM MV, and so far it works. Video on some movies is a bit choppy so I need to see if I can fix that up a bit. I think I can overclock the PICO a little bit. I'll have to see if that will fix it.
If I can fix that this will be one nice setup. So all media will stream from my HP mediaVault 2120, and the PICO will be the front end, all controled with a wii remote. All very low energy usage! If anyone is interested, once I get it working the way I'd like I can post back and let everyone know what I did. Oh BTW I posted on my blog how I got Hardware acceleration working so if anyone wants to check it out, its over here http://wanna-be-geek.blogspot.com/2008/10/ubuntu-804-hardware-acceleration-on.html --- On Sat, 9/27/08, ugh ugher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > From: ugh ugher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: [Elisa] Playback > To: "Guillaume Emont" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Cc: [email protected] > Date: Saturday, September 27, 2008, 4:43 PM > Well I installed the driver and added the patch, and now get > > glxinfo | grep direct > AllocateDmaBuffer fail > X Error of failed request: BadAlloc (insufficient > resources for operation) > Major opcode of failed request: 159 (GLX) > Minor opcode of failed request: 3 (X_GLXCreateContext) > Serial number of failed request: 25 > Current serial number in output stream: 26 > > Any idea what that means, or what I can do to fix it? > > > > --- On Fri, 9/26/08, ugh ugher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > wrote: > > > From: ugh ugher <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Subject: Re: [Elisa] Playback > > To: "Guillaume Emont" > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > Cc: [email protected] > > Date: Friday, September 26, 2008, 1:20 PM > > Sorry should have added this.
