Fabio:

What steps did you take to install the vanilla kernel 2.6.26.2 from kernel.org
and get the em28xx-new drivers working in Fedora 9? I've struggled with
getting the mcentral drivers to work with Fedora 9 for weeks now with no such
luck.

I have a Pinnacle 800e that used to work with Markus' drivers (FC6); Kernel
2.6.26 supposedly has support for my other tvtuner - the Pinnacle 801e (I'm
assuming this will work out of the box?).

For the time being I have been using the "video4linux" package available
through "yum". The current kernel available through "yum" is like
2.6.25.14-108 (I think); so I'm not sure how to upgrade to 2.6.26.

Thanks,
Scott
